THE 1914 "MIRACLE" BRAVES

June 28, 1914 ... No game scheduled ... Since they arrived home, the Braves have won 14 of their last 22 games.  This was from a team that one only 3 games of the first 19 that they played.

Butch Schmidt may be well enough to play tomorrow.  Charlie Deal has had a sore leg and needs some rest, but manager Stallings needs him.  He deserves a lot of credit for staying in the lineup.  Lefty Tyler, who hurt his ankle while covering first base two weeks ago, is still sore and not 100%.  The wound is painful enough that it affects his pitching.
