“DIARY OF A WINNER”

THE LAST ONE FOR 86 YEARS

June 22, 1918 ...  No game schedule ... The Wells Country Draft Board has reclassified Everett Scott in Class I.  Scott, up until now, as been given a deferred classification.  With the expectation that Dutch Leonard will leave the team, the Red Sox took Tufts University players, Lore Bader and Young Ford, with them on the trip to New York.

June 23, 1918 ...  No game scheduled ... The Red Sox were supposed to play an exhibition game with the Hartford Senators of the Eastern League, but it was called of because of the cold weather.
