THE LAST ONE FOR 86 YEARS May 26, 1918 ... Babe Ruth left the Mass. Eye and Ear Infirmary today after his bout with tonsillitis. He most likely will be back with the team after he has some time to get his strength back. However it is unlikely that he will get into a game before the depart on their road trip. With eight games scheduled this week, some of the men on the bench will most likely see some action. The Sox have won nine of their last twelve games. |
