“DIARY OF A WINNER”

AMOS STRUNK

THE LAST ONE FOR 86 YEARS

April 21, 1918 ... No game scheduled ... Amos Strunk, who injured his fingers yesterday, thinks he can still field and swing a bat effectively.  Dr. Lawler thinks differently, and Amos will not be playing tomorrow.  After the game, the Red Sox will be traveling to Philadelphia for four games.
